Julius S. Richter, MD, FACP

A founding member of Hightstown Medical Associates, Dr. Richter graduated from Kenyon College and Jefferson Medical College. He completed an internship and military service in the US Navy, a residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Administration Hospital, and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Temple University. He entered private practice in this area in 1968 and is a founding father of Hightstown Medical Associates.. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

James A. Robin, MD

Dr. Robin attended Franklin & Marshall College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following this he did an internship and residency at Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and the University of Pittsburgh-Presbyterian Hospital. Next, he completed a fellowship in Rheumatology at the Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He joined Hightstown Medical Associates in 1972. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Hank Lubin, MD

Dr. Lubin attended Princeton University, graduating with an AB degree in Biology and a certificate from the Program in Science in Human Affairs. His Senior Thesis topic was Computerized Medical Diagnosis. He then attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Affiliated Hospitals (Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, and the Medical Center at Princeton). He joined Hightstown Medical Associates in 1986. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Virginia (Ginger) Azarchi, MSN, NP-BC

Ginger received her Nursing degree from Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Thomas Edison State College and then her Masters in Nursing from The College of New Jersey. She then received her Nurse Practitioner training at The College of New Jersey. Along the way, she has had a varied career, working at Hamilton Hospital and Massachussetts General Hospital, where she was assigned to the Spinal Cord Injury Unit. She has also worked in Urology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Rehabilitation and Home Health. Her most recent experience was in an Internal Medicine Practice in Hamilton, where she also attended patients at several local Nursing Homes. Valerie A. Layne, DNP, NP-BC

Valerie earned a Doctor Of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in October 2006. Prior to this, Valerie received a BS in Nursing from the State University of New York - Albany. She then received a Master of Arts in Nursing from New York University and completed her Nurse Practitioner training at The College of New Jersey. She has worked in the Coronary Care Unit of The Medical Center at Princeton and the Intensive Care Unit of Framingham Union Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Elizabeth (Betty) Teixeira, MS, NP-BC, CDE

Betty earned her BSN from Boston College, her Masters in Science from the University of Massachusetts and is currently working on her Doctorate (DrNP) at Drexel University. She is certified in Adult and Gerontologic Care and is also a Certified Diabetes Educator. She worked as a nurse for 15 years and then as a Nurse Practitioner for 13 years. She comes to us from Princeton Pike Internal Medicine in Lawrenceville. Betty is currently on the faculty of the Helene Fuld School of Nursing as a Clinical Instructor. Previously she was a preceptor for nurse practitioner students at Jefferson University and the University of Rochester. She has been listed in Who's Who in Diabetes Care and Management.
